Students can purchase a "Candygram" at school for themselves or for others. When purchasing, students will receive a card to fill in and then return to the office. The card will then be attached to a candycane and delivered at the end of next week. Candygrams are $0.50 each.

Thanks to the generous donations of many of our École St. Margaret families, we will once again open the doors to our Santa Store for students next Monday/Tuesday. Students will be able to purchase a present or two for $1 - $2 per item.

Grade 6-8 have the opportunity to kick off the Reading Season with a new literacy initiative called Holy Lit (previously known as Battle of the Books). Our first event will be happening at Vanier Collegiate on Nov. 3 from 1-3 p.m. Students who were interested received a letter at Monday morning assembly. Please make sure to RSVP. If you need another parent letter, please contact Mme Phipps.

On the afternoon of October 31, we will be having our annual Mission Fair. A letter will be sent home with more information for ticket purchase but parents and siblings are welcome to attend. The afternoon is run in a fun-filled carnival-style. Students are allowed to wear costumes all day but please no bloods, guts, gore or weapons. If your child's costume could get wrecked at school or be dangerous for him/her to wear, please feel free to have him/her wear black and orange.

On Friday, October 25, 2019, Mr. Albert will be at our school working in the gym with our Grade 5- 8 students. There will be lots of movement but also lots of learning about leadership!
